It was an excellent session with Ghaith al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai at the Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai. He has been at the forefront of the evolution of the airline industry in Dubai, and was involved in the UAE/Australian partnership from the earliest of days. But what was really fascinating was hearing his vision for the future. How the core of the partnership between Emirates & flydubai is to offer better services and connectivity to passengers. How the vision is for the long-term and the investment has been made to back that up. But the partnership extends beyond just the airlines - they are simply realising the vision of the Leadership of Dubai, and this support is integral to the success of both airlines.

We were also delighted to have HE Arthur Spyrou, Australian Ambassador, and Gerard Seeber, Senior Trade Commissioner and Consul General at the lunch. The intention behind this series of lunches is to give the business community access to these industry leaders, and we greatly appreciate the suport of the Australian government.

And finally, we would like to thank Knights & Lords for their support and generosity in giving another bespoke tailoring experience (worth AED5000) to one of the lucky attendees at the lunch.
