Anita Yadav is a Senior Director at Emirates NBD and heads its Fixed Income Research function. She has over 17 years of experience in financial markets, spread across Australia, India, Asia and the Middle East. In her current role, she focusses on fixed income markets covering global rates, local rates, EM credit, GCC capital markets and Islamic finance. Prior to ENBD, Anita was responsible for credit sales at ANZ in Singapore. During her decade and half career, commencing as an analyst with Moody’s, Anita has served as Head of Research at UBS in Sydney and as Managing Director, Head of Global Markets at Nomura in India. Anita is a frequent commentator on economic and capital markets issues and has been invited to speak at many high level global financial summits including at the IMF annual meets. For two consecutive terms from 1998 to 2002, Anita served as Secretary General of Australia India Chamber of Commerce, Sydney chapter which was later phased into Australia India Business Council ( . Anita has actively been involved in promoting Australian trade, within and outside of Australia. At a granular level, she is currently assisting several Australian service-oriented companies, including the likes of Sydney law firm, Kaden Boriss to grow their business in the Middle East. Anita is also Aiumni of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Anita hold an honours degree in science followed by an MBA. In addition she holds a post graduate degree in Applied Finance from Australia. She is currently the Vice - Chair of the board of Gulf Bond and Sukuk Association in Dubai. GBSA aims to promote wide and deep capital markets in the region. Prior to moving to Dubai in 2014, Anita was on the board of World Toilet Organisation (, WTO, based in Singapore, which is a global non-profit organisation committed to improving sanitation conditions worldwide. Anita is married to an Architect, has two kids and currently lives in Dubai. She has keen interest in philanthropic causes and is a key supporter of KADAM, an India based NGO helping local artisans (
