What do you enjoy most about your job?

The best part of my job is dealing with different people. Be it my guests or my associates, each is an unique experience. Apart from travelling the world and staying in different hotels each day gives me a new challenge to think something different which in turn will help me direct my team and help us serve our guests better.

What is the most challenging and difficult aspect of your job?

Managing / balancing the expectations of my key stakeholders

What does a typical day at work look like?

I am an early riser and generally wake up and hit the gym. This helps me de stress and also keeps me fit for my role. Then spending some time with my family over breakfast I head to my office. My typical day starts with checking emails/ my appointment calendar etc.

I start with morning briefings with my Executive Committee members and then have other department meetings/ GM’s/Owner’s meeting etc. Meeting each division head as well as regular conference calls with other offices in Chicago and Zurich is how my day progresses as I have to manage different time zones as well. After a quick lunch I get back to answering my emails. The day ends with a quiet meal with my family, some television and planning my next day.

How do you like to spend your leisure time?

In my spare time I enjoy Golf, Swimming and Surfing. Spending time with family and my children is also my top priority.
