The Australian Business Council hosts regular events throughout the year for both members and non-members. These events bring together our community for both social and business networking, and help to strengthen the ties between Australia and the UAE.

Joining us for one of our dynamic events, introduces you to an already well-established network through which to connect with Australians living and working in the UAE. We boast over 500 members, comprising both companies and individuals across 50 sectors.

G'day Cafe

Held on the first Wednesday morning of every month, G'day Cafe is a casual networking event held in a different venue around Dubai.

Connect with like-minded individuals and meet the team behind the successful Aussie businesses. We welcome both new and old faces for a cuppa and a chat.

Registration is free for both members and non-members, but is essential, as we have limited space.

Dubai Networking Nights

You may have heard of the idea that all people are six social connections away from each other #6DegreesOfSeparation.

We think that Dubai is a city of 2-degrees, so whether you are new in town or have been here a while, it is always worth meeting new people and re-connecting with familiar faces. Building relationships is essential to success!

Dubai Networking Nights are FREE for members and only 100 AED for guests, and (as always), the first drink is on us.

There will also be snacks on hand to keep the conversation flowing. Dubai Networking nights are held every second Thursday and different venues across Dubai.

Other ABC events throughout the year include cultural celebrations such as IFTA and Australia Day Dinners.

We regularly co-host with the numerous fellow international business councils of Dubai, organising joint networking events including the Big Inter-Council Networking Night that brings together over 20 councils.

Together with our sponsors and partners, we organise and present seminars, information sessions and round tables on current business and international topics that may affect Australians living in the UAE.

Our Australian cultural and community events throughout the year include the ANZAC Day memorial (held in conjunction with the Australian Embassy), AFL Grand Final and Derby Day.

The Australian Ball is one of the highlights of our calendar, bringing over 300 members of our community together for an elegant evening of Australian themed food, dancing and friendship.
